Disposal coffee cups are naff. Noone wants to be seen with single use cups any more so here at bru, we wanted to make reusable coffee cups something of a statement. Over the last few years, we’ve lost sleep in our search for the trendiest colours so that you can be proud to show off your reusable cup whilst protecting the environment from any more unnecessary waste.

Why make the switch to stainless steel cups?

Environmentally friendly – because the vast majority (around 85%) of stainless steel is made using around 50% scrap metal, this reduces the need to mine for more virgin materials thus, saving water, fuel and protecting local environments from further degradation.

Reusable – functionally, you should be able to use and re-use your bru cup for the rest of your life although aesthetically, your cup may show signs of age. If your friends describe you as “a bit clumsy” then we suggest opting for a darker colour bru cup which will be a lot more forgiving if it gets scratched, stained or dropped.

Recyclable – like all stainless steel, these cups can be recycled without ever losing material quality. Tip: keep a little box in a storage cupboard and fill it with stainless steel items. When this box is full or if you are going to your local Council recycling centre, take the box with you and recycle the contents so they can be melted down and made into something new. Unfortunately, the lid is not currently recyclable (we’re working on that!).

Safe – stainless steel doesn’t leach chemicals and doesn’t react with the liquids you consume. Our lids are also BPA- and BPS- free. Because these cups are so easy to clean, they are the healthiest, most convenient and eco coffee cup choice for everyone who wants to make a positive impact.

Care

We recommend rinsing your bru cup with hot water after every use and washing with hot, soapy water and a brush or sponge within 24h after use. Keep the lid off to allow the cup to dry fully  and keep the inside smelling fresh. The lids can be placed in the top draw of the dishwasher to clean. Occasionally we suggest removing the seal and slider from the lid for a deep clean. All colour cups except Rose Gold Intense can also occasionally be washed in the dishwasher as long as the wash cycle does not exceed 70 °C. Environmentally friendly detergents and sustainable bottle brushes and sponges are always encouraged!

Beautiful looking cups and keep the drinks hot

Just perfect!

After much research, I have finally found the perfect reusable lidded coffee cup! The reason for all the research? A new cup holder fitted into my little old BMW Z4. I take a cup with me on my commute to work each shift and husband bought me a retro fit holder, which he fitted for me. The taller cups were too tall, too slim and unstable. This beautiful Bru cup is unique, admired by many and just perfect....thank you.🧡

Great Cup

I love this cup, it's stylish, well made & easy to clean. I purchased the rose gold intense for myself & the aranya green as a Christmas present. It really does keep your drink hot - I made the mistake of putting the lid back on as soon as I had made my tea, then returned half an hour later to take a drink & scalded my lips - now I leave the lid off for 5 mins to allow the drink to slightly cool & that works ok for me.

I Like My Cup

Really nice to drink from with or without the lid. Good insulation, hot inside, nice and cool to hold on the outside. Looks pretty.

I love this mug and have used it now for several months, I used to have a bamboo one but after buying 3 they all seem to break so tried something a little stronger. This little cup is great it keeps coffee warm, and no metallic taste. Fits a regular Cafe Nero style Late as long as the barista doesn’t put in too much milk.
I've come back here to buy another for my wife as they make a nice little gift too, I got my last cup on Amazon but loving the 10% discount here on first orders.
I must stress though it is a reusable coffee cup and not a thermos flask... so it will leak if you throw it around. But who wants to do that?
